Wine and Cookie Decorating Social, July 2026
It was wine and cookie time at the CAI Nevada Annual Wine and Cookie Decorating Social! The company was superb and the cookies we decorated were yummy. Rose Creek Garden, July 2026
CAI Community Outreach volunteered at Lighthouse Charity Rose Creek Farm. Seventeen volunteers assisted in clearing out and weeding garden areas to prepare for a new season of planting. We celebrated Juneteenth by working the rows of onions, beets, carrots, corn, radishes, lavender and the butterfly garden. A few volunteers had the opportunity to get eggs from the chicken coop.

The Northern Nevada Trade Show was held recently featuring the launch of the “CAI Today” talk show. A new 3 hour CE.0665000 seminar with host Adam Clarkson, Esq., CCAL, NVEBP. Following the seminar, 86 attendees visited with 36 business partners.
Northern Nevada LAC Pull the Cork, July 2026
The Legislative Action Committee (LAC) Cork Pull Fundraiser, held on June 11, 2026, brought together Northern Nevada industry leaders for an enjoyable and meaningful evening. While the turnout was small, attendees appreciated the opportunity to connect, support LAC, and participate in the cork pull, where everyone went home with a bottle of wine in support of a great cause. Thank you to our Northern Nevada LAC members; Lisa Nunley, Shaari Rutter, Tonya Bates, and Amy Meline—for hosting such a wonderful event at Engine 8 Urban Winery.

Our Community Outreach Committee had the pleasure of preparing and serving dinner to the families at the Ronald McDonald House. Dinner included a delicious chicken entree with fresh vegetables, salad and cute cupcakes!

Outreach At The Farm, December 2025
What a joyful way to bring the community together in a spirit of hope and generosity! Our Christmas at the Creek was a wonderful way to support The Lighthouse Charities refugee workforce training programs. Volunteers helped transform the gardens into a festive Christmas village. Working alongside our refugee trainees, we helped children decorate cookies, lead crafts, sing carols and spread holiday cheer.
